beautiful watch but would you please make these wonderful watches in a smaller size, say 38 mm?

I've been using this watch for over a year now. After nearly 30 years with numerous servicings and battery changes on my old Infantry, it was time for something better and boy is this ever better! It is very accurate...like to less than a minute +/- a month. It never needs a battery and it's easily as tough or more so than my Victorinox. And, important to me is that it is easy to read in day or night. And yes, the glow lasts all night.

Awesome watch so far. Why is it being discontinued. Hope nothing's wrong.

I bought this two weeks ago from an authorized dealer. I find the all black version more versatile in terms of being a bit more dressy the the steel color ones. The dealer mentioned this all black model is now discontinued which is a shame. Overall this watch is a great value for what you get and its quickly become one of my favorites in my collection. Two common complaints - 1) The day window is ridiculously small and if they had made it larger this would be a 5 star watch 2) The band is stiff and not as dressy as I would like - but a quick change to a Barton elite silicone band fixed that.

I chose the Promaster Tough primarily for the proven reliability and convenience of the Eco-Drive power source. I wanted a tough good looking watch for everyday wear. The sapphire crystal and solid body make this watch tough enough to wear during all activities. The only negative reviews I have are the recessed date window that makes the date almost impossible to see. The luminescent quality of the watch hands is not great as the glow of the hands does not last long in a dark environment. overall I think the Promaster Tough is a good watch for everyday wear.

I was so happy with the green Promaster Tough, that I purchased the other two variations in order to mix and match. Warning: The stainless steel bracelet uses a different spring bar than the ballistic fabric strap. You can purchase both the stainless bracelet and specific spring bars directly from Citizen, if you want to dress up the versions with the fabric strap. The middle part of the spring bar is about 1mm shorter, in order to install the stainless bracelet with the shoulders, onto the lugs. I'm really happy with the design aesthetic and the finish quality and toughness of these watches. The sapphire crystal on my older Citizen has been scratch free for almost a decade.
