I've had this watch for 3 months and couldnt be happier! I am a gadget guy so I understand why some reviews arent favorable..I would recommend reading instructions thoroughly....charging watch for a few hours before attempting to p[air with your phone. I tried out of the box and was getting frustrated, then I set it aside near sunlight for a few hours then everything worked as indicated. HIGHLY RECOMMEND to you techy/gadget guys!

I purchased this watch about a month ago. The features are great but I bought this watch for looks,,accuracy and ECO function. This watch looks great in a business suit and sports attire as well. Always correct on time and no battery worries.

If you’re not used to wearing a larger watch, the unboxing of your new Citizen Proximity Pryzm can be a little overwhelming. However it’s not the 48mm diameter that’s unusual, it’s the 12mm thickness that’s first noticeable. But then you put it on your wrist and notice that it’s indeed a Citizen, so you know you have a reliable and accurate brand, and one which looks good and wearable for all occasions from boardroom meetings, to a day at the races and a night at the opera. The night luminosity of the hands and hour markings are good, though I have also seen brighter luminosity from other (and cheaper) brands. And if you want a watch that’s a cross between smart and stylish, this is ideal. The features are also good, from a perpetual calendar, second time zone, a 60 minute timer (chronograph) and Smart Phone Bluetooth connectivity for notifications of calls, texts, etc – that’s presuming your watch can stay connected, and this is where the problem lies. After 2 weeks of wearing the watch, I have noticed that in direct sunlight, the watch stays connected and it’s features works well. However head indoors, or to a location with shadows or low light, and it’s disconnected. Luckily manual reconnection is very easy, but doesn’t last long – if at all in low light. So, in my particular job where accurate time is a must, I have learnt to sync my watch via Bluetooth every morning, and then knowing that Bluetooth connectivity will be lost within the hour, just rely on the vibrations of my phone to notify me of calls and text. Besides, I have to use my phone to answer them anyway.

I keep my phone on silent. This watch alerts me when I’m getting a call, text, e-mail, etc. nothing else that’s all I was looking for. A very nice watch that will help notify me of calls and texts. Love it.
