For a touch of modern elegance and functionality, the women’s Calendrier not only tracks the phases of the moon, but also displays the time, month, day, and date. The mother-of-pearl dial in a beautiful blue hue is inset with diamond accents and has reflective qualities. Due to the iridescent properties of mother-of-pearl, no two dials are alike in color and tone, creating a unique look. Along with a versatile 37mm silver-tone stainless steel case and bracelet, it runs on Eco-Drive technology, meaning it’s sustainably powered by any light and never needs a battery – blending elevated style and advanced features into one elegant timepiece.

Beautiful watch with very nice details, but found it hard to adjust to my wrist width. One link made the difference between too loose and a little too snug. I also expected the color to be more on the purple end versus blue, that said, it's still very beautiful.

Amazing Watch! Lots of colors in face. Alas current setting month instructions are incorrect. Month button is located above setting button. It is a heavy watch Just FYI

This watch face looks more purplish with blue, than the photo that looks blue with purple but that is not a bad thing. Its dreamy, its gorgeous. It does get a little bit hard to read when the light is just right because of the white lettering, however, that doesn't bother me- I can tell the time without seeing any numbers, and even if I couldn't, there are the diamond markers that give a beautiful minimalist sparkle. With the day/date/time indicators, I don't need to read the letters anyway- I will get used to where the dials are pointing to be able to know what day it is, what month it is, and to a lesser extent what the date is, but I'm not depending on this watch to tell the date, honestly. It was NOT hard to set, and though it doesn't come with setting instructions, just go to the Citizen website listing for this item and download the instructions and set it according to that. It's actually quite easy to set. This watch is a little bigger of a face than I am used to, and a wider of a band than I am used to. I am a 5'4, petite female with wrists that measure 6.25 inches around. I had four links removed. It is not overpowering, or overly heavy, though it is a little heavier than a leather band watch. I've read reviews where others sent it back because its heavy and hard to set. Neither of those are true in my opinion. I love that the hands illuminate in the dark and that it never needs a battery. Its a very pretty and high quality timepiece. And no I don't work for Citizen, I just wanted a watch with a moon phase dial and this watch is exactly what I wanted and I love it.

I love this timepiece. The moonphase and blue to purple hues of the mother of pearl face are my favorite features. The quality is top notch. I've gotten so many compliments in the short time I've had it. This would make a perfect gift for someone special.

Pros: The mother of pearl clock face and diamond accents are beautiful. I love the hand lumes - a very nice touch. It's a medium size to large-ish watch with good weight, which I love and feels very high quality. And of course, the solar power is a huge sell for me. Cons: The white on mother of pearl clock face makes it hard to read the date or time. I found it very tedious to set the moon phases and absolutely required the online manual to get it right. If you look carefully, the diamond accents do not go all the way around - they are missing on the 3, 6 & 9, which I think is a design flaw. That being said, I LOVE this watch and I am very happy with my purchase. It's at a great price point to be able to collect many, this being my third Citizen Eco-Drive watch. It's feminine, yet stately and serves a lot of function. The moon phases, though difficult to set in my opinion, also offer a touch of whimsy I i really like. I would definitely recommend this timepiece.

The Citizen watches always have a top place in my heart. I had wanted a more elaborate model with more features and chose to try this one. There is everything to praise about this watch with the many features and the beauty of it. However, there are two reasons that prompted me to have to return this. First, it is too thick and heavy for my taste and my wrist felt weighed down. Second, Citizen company failed to provide a specific instruction manual for this particular model but instead kept on pointing my husband and I back to the manual of other similar models - note those other models have distinctly two buttons, whereas Calendrier has one, with a small built-in button (requiring a tool). My husband had to exercise his engineering mind for almost two evenings in order to set all the features for me. If it had been me alone, I would have given up long time ago. He said - do you want to deal with this every time you need to set something? Naturally, the answer is no. So for those who can deal with these two issues, you can give this watch a try.
