The Disney Mickey Mouse Classic \"Windswept\" timepiece from Citizen steals our hearts in this gold-tone stainless steel design. The silver-white dial is the perfect backdrop for this crisp illustration of Mickey swept up in love with a bouquet of vibrant flowers. The charming dial designed by the talented Disney illustrator Jeff Shelly ushers in memories of the TV Show Mickey Mouse Works from the early 2000s which established the modern look of Disney Mickey Mouse while throwing back to the old-school Mickey design from the 1936 short “Thru the Mirror.” The crisp illustration is complemented by Roman numeral hour-markers and three simple gold-tone hands. Powered by light with Citizen’s proprietary Eco-Drive technology, this Mickey lover’s watch never needs a battery.

Why is the roman numeral written wrong? There's never four of the same letter in roman numerals. Four is written as IV, never IIII.

Thank you for your feedback. The use of the Roman numerals in this way is not incorrect. Watches use “IIII” instead of “IV” to maintain visual symmetry on the watch face. This creates a balanced appearance with four symbols on each side of the dial, mirroring the symbols on the opposite side where “VIII” is used for the number eight. This usage is aesthetically pleasing and has become a traditional practice in watchmaking. We hope this clarifies things!
