This is a great show piece. The colors are stark but gentle. Watches that can measure 0.001 second are few. Solar powered is one of my favorite features of Citizen watches. The other features of time keeping are normal for high end watchers. My only complaint is the alarm. My old age just is not sensitive enough to hear the beeps.

Honestly, I was just looking for a watch with an orange/blue color combination, and I ran across this watch. I’ve owned a few Citizen watches over the years, so I know they make excellent products. Upon receiving it, it is packaged really well, and it looks impeccable. There are a ton of features, and you gotta love Eco-Drive technology.

I love Citizen Eco-Drives and I really wanted to love this sporty version. Pros: Excellent quality as always from Citizen. The buttons have a crisp feel when you press them in, the leather band is excellent and the finish is what you would expect. Cons: For me, it sits a bit large on my 6.5" wrist. I have a Brycen that measures (using my measuring tools) almost the exact same size lug to lug but this just feels bigger. The ani-digi aspect could use some work. Having a dark background with light text is already a bit difficult to see at low light, it's even more difficult when the minute hand is covering multiple digits at the same time. To make matters worse, the digital backlight is only available when in the date mode. What I would like to see here is an option to move the hour and minute hands out of the way when performing timing operations, the ability to light up the backlight in all digital modes, and the option to switch modes while still having the chronograph run. I'm returning this watch as I feel the digital aspect of the watch is worthless between minute 20 and 30 of every hour especially during low light. I'm picking up a new black Nighthawk instead :)

I saw a photo of this watch before I visited the Citizen website and knew right away that I liked it. Then I ordered it - and I enjoy it even more. The features speak for themselves and they all work very well. I have no complaints and everyone who has seen it was struck by the unique styling and color treatment and when they hold it or try it on, they are similarly impressed. It's a little bit large at 46mm, but the bezel color treatment (slightly "inset" from the periphery of the case) makes it appear slightly smaller on the wrist than it actually is. It's not too heavy, it's not too light, and the Eco-Drive is a winner. I like the leather strap. It "connects" with me in an organic way. A note on the strap: I have a larger wrist than I thought, and didn't measure before ordering. At just under 8-1/4" I wear this watch on the last two holes of the strap. If your wrist is larger you might have some difficulty, and you should contact Citizen. The only complaint, if it can be said to be one, is that the LCD is wonderful with the RED backlit illumination but: 1) I wish that worked in ALL the modes (including chronograph, etc.) and that the display itself was a bit higher contrast in dim light. A darkened room makes it tougher to read on the chrono, etc. Anything above a few candles, or outdoors under virtually any circumstances except pitch darkness (even by moonlight) and it's fine or better. Most sporting events and so forth at night would not be a problem at all. That's it. If you like the styling and the features, you will not be disappointed. Great job, CItizen. Put a 262k oscillator in it and make it into a benchmark piece, but as-is the accuracy is more than adequate. And of course, the packaging is swell. Box-in-box-in-a-box and quite rugged and sturdy.

The watch is fine. I really like it. The leather band is a little short and needs to be about an inch longer since I have large wrists and arms. Otherwise it is okay.
