“Great watch poor battery life. I'm only getting 5 to 6 hours out of the watch with most of the features turned off. That just does not work for me.”

“I was excited to have a smart watch that looked like a regular timepiece. I have several Citizen watches and have always loved them. I am disappointed. The battery life is horrible and it constantly disconnects from my iphone. It is a pain to reconnect. The interface is a bit clumsy and not intuitive at all. I also do not like that the watch face changes when in a sleep/power save mode (when it "times out"). Right now I have that set on 5 seconds to save battery and it is annoying to have the face change as you raise it and try to read the time. I am overall disappointed and hope Citizen steps up and pushes out major updates. I regret spending the money. And now I see they do not recommend swimming with it - COME ON!!!!”

The design was inspired by Citizen’s sport technical timepieces for style and function. We are sorry to hear that you are disappointed with CZ Smart’s battery life. CZ Smart does have a Battery Optimizer App, which allows a user to manually turn certain features on and off to extend the battery life. Regarding the connectivity, we have several tips to help troubleshoot. We will contact you via email to learn more and provide solutions.

“Got this watch for Christmas. Watch has great features . But battery life is the worst I've ever seen. If you use watch to answer or talk text your battery dies very quickly. My wife has a fit bit that she came talk text and battery last a couple of days. With this smart watch you have to recharge before the end of the day. So if you looking for a smart watch with a good battery life this is not the watch. Really only good for a time and notice smart watch. Need to improve battery life on this smart watch. Going to see about returning my watch. Maybe next generation will have a better battery life. I'm a fan of citizens own quite a few of their watches, but first smart watch.”

Regarding the battery life, it depends on usage, as well as the settings that are built into the smartwatch and can be easily accessed. There are multi-day battery modes to choose from, including the 24-hour default mode, plus extended and custom modes. Your satisfaction is important to us. “I got this watch for Christmas and I love the style of my “real watches” but the function of a smart watch. Style wise it’s perfect. But unlike my other smart watch it won’t stay connected to my iPhone. I made sure all the software is updated but they both are on my person and it won’t stay connected. So what’s the point of a smart watch? Please get this issue resolved Citizen.”
