“I recently purchased a silver birthstone claddagh for one of my Grand Daughters which she is delighted with. I have made it a practice to send claddagh rings to the Grand Daughters when they become "teens". I will have to order several more in the next few years and since I am in my 80's I'll have to decide what to do for the younger girls since their "teen" years are a few years off. Two of my older Grand Daughters recently spent a day at Disney Land with exchange students living with them. They decided to take the bus tour which had a docent on board pointing out significant sites. She pointed out the statue of Walt Disney she was asked what kind of a ring was on his left hand and she did not know. My Grand Daughters showed everyone on the bus their claddaghs and explained the signifance them and provided a little of the history.”
