“I started buying Claifions about a year ago - I have all three models that were being sold, plus I have the floor unit which works very well. I also bought a supply of filters. I do prefer the Clarifion that you are showing on this page. I found the small ones were ok in the beginning because I did not know the difference. I did not care for them as there was no way to change the filter. The unit with the (button) in it did also not have a way to change the filter. The unit above does have a way and I bought filters. I ordered several more Clarifiond DSTx units in the last few weeks.
Yesterday I pulled all of the DST units and put new filters in them - (other than the new ones just bought) and much to my surprise out of 8 only 2 showed any need for filters but I replaced them just to be sure for efficiency. I now have a unit in each socket in my home - but I have removed the small ones as the DST and the one with the button are much more effective. I put them on so they make the sound with the light - the sound is loud when they are all going but I know how effective they are.”
