Regarding your question, you can clean the Clarifion unit at least twice a week by wiping out the graying spots that surround the unit with a microfiber cloth to increase its effectiveness and clean off debris. There is no need to remove any filters or disassemble the Clarifion; simply clean the surrounding area.
