I enjoyed my very first Crochet class with Kathryn from ClassBento/HobbyCraft. It went at a good pace and gave me a good idea of the basics. Kathryn was friendly, clear and knowledgeable and I have something to practice with now.

Really great class. The teacher went through everything at an easy to follow pace and made sure everyone was ok before moving on to the next step

I absolutely loved this class. I have been wanting to learn crochet for a while, but was finding it hard to get to grips with it on my own. Kathryn (my teacher) was really patient and encouraging, and she explained the stitches really clearly. It was a small group session, so it was really comfortable to ask questions and we got a lot of individual attention as needed. I wasn't sure how it would work online but there was a great camera/Zoom set up so I could see really clearly and easily. I will definitely do another class soon.

Instructor explained direction in an easy and simple way, talking through each step perfectly. Also checking to see each person was following on. A great fun class to try

I've always wanted to learn to crochet but couldn't find any classes and it felt too daunting to just teach myself using YouTube. I'm so glad I came across this class - it's affordable and you get sent a kit so you don't have to worry about researching which size hook to buy or what type of yarn to buy. In this session I learned how to do a slip knot, how to hold the hook and yarn, and how to do a double and treble stitch. It was tricky to get the hang of what to do with my hands but I got there in the end. Looking forward to joining another class to learn more.

This was a great session with a very knowledgeable teacher. I wasn’t sure about an online session rather than face to face but actually it was great. No pressure to participate if you don’t feel comfortable. No pressure to have camera on.
