Maddie was so patient and helpful. We went through making a slip know to start, creating a chain, double and trebles and also managed to get onto making a Granny square. We got 2 balls of yarn, a crochet hook, printed instructions and a tote bag too! Really great value. Would have loved to stay for another couple of hours chatting with a cup of tea and growing my granny square! Would highly recommend this class for complete beginners like me

We were made to feel very welcome on arrival and taken to be introduced to the person leading the workshop. Though in the staff room, it felt a very relaxed, fun atmosphere and the teacher,Pauline, was very clear and patient with her explanations. We started with the basics of crochet, the starting off, chain stitch, double and treble crochet stitches and then the finishing off. We were given time at every stage to practice the stitches and Pauline spent as much time with each individual as was needed. Afterwards Pauline escorted us onto the shop floor and explained the different wools and equipment for use in crochet. This was a lovely Christmas gift to me which included three generations...... so now the competitions begin

Had a wonderful time, three generations together. We went from absolute beginners to gaining huge enthusiasm and having the confidence to think about taking on a simple project, working towards the target (demigorgon) toy, for next Christmas. The lovely Pauline was a great teacher, very patient, demonstrated and explained everything well and answered all of our (many) questions. We can now; make a slip not, chain stitch, double and treble crochet, and finish off the end. All equipment was provided and I’m very proud of the lovely ship I made (admittedly it wasn’t intentional….but I’ll take it). My daughter carried on crocheting all the way home!!

Our teacher was great, very patient and happy to repeat and instruct the 4 people in our group who were all new to crochet and all had our difficulties. We learned 2 basic stitches and had time to practice them with individual help when needed. I just have to keep practicing so I don't forget what to do. An excellent course, would definitely recommend.

Real patient with me (as my hand didn’t want to work!) lovely small group Nice and easy to book online and great reminders The downside was that it was held right at the back of a store through the storage racking and in what appeared to be the staff locker room It was quite claustrophobic and any event of any issues. I’m not sure how we would’ve got out.
