I went solo to this session and can say I’ve unlocked a new hobby. Don’t be afraid to go alone, you’ll meet new people there who are all beginners too. Our teacher was friendly, supportive and overall so lovely. The session consisted of several parts: 1 - demonstration of how to centre your clay 2 - you go and do step 1 3 - demonstration of how to shape the clay 4 - go and get creative 5 - last 15 minutes was spent cleaning Our session had about 7 of us, this small class let our teacher offer 1-2-1 help and jump in whenever we needed it. Be prepared to get a bit messy but nothing a bit of water can’t fix. I had so much fun and loved the experience, highly recommend to give it a go! I made 3 pieces and paid to have them fired and glazed for £5 per piece. Defo value for money.
