The class was incredibly well-organized, starting with an introduction to the art of perfumery, where we learned about the different types of notes (top, middle, and base), fragrance families, and the science behind blending scents.
The instructor was knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about the craft, which made the learning process both fun and insightful. They took the time to explain each step in detail, from understanding the raw materials to creating a balanced composition. What I appreciated most was the hands-on experience—each participant had access to a wide variety of essential oils and fragrance components to experiment with, and we were guided to craft our very own custom perfume.
The atmosphere was relaxed yet creative, and the small group size allowed for personalized attention, which really enhanced the experience. By the end of the class, I had a much deeper understanding of the perfumery process and left with my own unique fragrance in a beautifully packaged bottle, along with the recipe to recreate it.
