We absolutely loved our Kintsugi workshop and highly recommend!! Our teacher, Miyoka, was wonderful. Repairing our pottery was so much fun, and learning about the cultural history and philosophy behind the art made for a very special experience.

A thoroughly satisfying afternoon class putting together a broken plate under the patient tutelage of Master Jun. If you have the passion to ensure beauty is restored to ordinary broken household items, this is a great way to do it.

Our teacher, Hitami, was fantastic. Very knowledgeable and linked Japanese history, culture and language to the techniques and the process. Having traveled to Japan, she connected it to our experiences and to personal healing journeys. I cannot recommend enough!

The class was intimate and the attention from Sensei Hitomi was warm, caring and personal. I loved every moment of this workshop and look forward to coming back to more workshops with this dojo.

Kintsugi - the Japanese art of putting broken pottery pieces back together with gold, and a metaphor for embracing your flaws and imperfections. I soaked up the experience of artfully mending something broken into something beautiful (and useful). Using gold was almost a celebration of the 'healing' and I loved every step of the process and the result. The class had a friendly feel and kind teacher and at no stage did we feel lost or unsure. Well worth the time and money.
