“If you have never tried Kintsugi, this is possibly the best place to start. The teacher was very knowledgeable and experienced. We were given sufficient time to follow, complete and perfect our broken plates. I really enjoyed the opportunity to be able to sit in a room with strangers, being in such a calming environment. It was totlly zen. I believe this experience has brought about some internal healing for us all since we were all estranged from the world in the last couple of years. I believe everyone will benefit from this class. I am truly hooked and will return for more :)”
“Thank you Noriko for a great class, we really enjoyed it and you made it especially interesting with the history. We also didn't expect some cute Japanese snacks too! Would recommend for anyone wanting to try something creative and different... and now we know how to repair broken dishes beautifully!”
“Absolutely awesome workshop. The teacher, Jun-san is so passionate and proud of his art and that shows as he not only teaches the students the basics of Kintsugi but also shares the history of the art and his experience of spending several years in Japan learning the art form from Kintsugi masters.”
“This class is highly recommended. The atmosphere created by our teacher Jun was fun and very casual but at the same time very informative. I learnt a lot about Jun and the history of kintsugi and would love to come back to learn some more. Jun made the steps of kinstugi so easy to understand that even the non-artsy people would can follow.”
“Great class to make something beautiful out of something broken. Miyoko taught us about the traditional methods and explained the modern methods of Kintsugi. She was patient and very helpful in guiding us through the techniques and my husband and I both really enjoyed it.”
