I really enjoyed the single day pottery workshop! Lorelei was incredibly clear in her instruction and was patient, and encouraging throughout the learning process. Class sizes are small, which is great for beginners, as you receive a lot of assistance from the teacher. I would definitely recommend this class, even if you have no prior experience with clay.

Tanner (I think) was our teacher today and was thorough, showing us around and what they offer apart from our workshop today. When we were at the wheels, he showed us step by step how to achieve what we'd like. We then got started afterwards, and he was present, helping us to smooth out our work and finish our pieces off. We really enjoyed how patient and encouraging he was, and how he was willing to get me started on more intermediate tools as I had done this before. We are looking forward to painting our creations next time. In terms of the gift card system, it is great that people get to choose their experience even if the gifter encourages them to do another.

Throughly enjoyed the class however will need to gather a greater knowledge of various techniques especially pressure regarding the fingers etc. This seemed to elude me so a one on one w/a teacher would benefit. Time seemed paramount & was aware of this. I actually didn’t hear my teachers name mentioned. It was satisfying when you started to see a shape appear & if you were fortunate enough you would get a correction and shown where the mistake was made.. looking forward to seeing the finished product glazed, as simple as it is.
