“I did not want these bags. I requested a refund 10 days prior to shipping. I was told that I could not receive a refund and had to wait to receive the order and then return it. I still don't have my order and its been well over 12 days. I liked the idea of the compostable bags however, I have learned that they still sit in landfills, just for a shorter period which is great. These bags are extremely hard to open for a more mature person, I can't see what's in them when I put them in the fridge, my fruit spoils quicker in these bags and the kitchen trash bags have no drawstring and they don't come with twist ties. At least, mine did not. So, disappointed with this purchase and customer service. I have an update as of 6/2/2023 I have yet to receive a refund. They have asked that I edit my review, so now I am giving 1 star for customer service. I called because I received an email stating that my package had been delivered yet I didn't receive it. I clicked on the tracking number given and the status was "on the way." I was told on May 18th that once I got the package and returned it that I would receive a refund. I was on the phone for 22min and kept asking to speak with a manager since the representative said that she would escalate my issue. Finally came back and said that she would issue a refund. The funny thing is that in my conversation with her, she stated that I didn't receive my package because it was returned to their warehouse. So why did I get a confirmation of delivery? But I couldn't get a refund because they didn't have it yet...huh? In any case buyer beware!”
