“It's quiet, weighs a lot and seems to be built like a tank. Timed grind yields consistent dose once you're dialed in. The portofilter holder isn't much use, actually much easier without it to get all the grounds in the basket without making a big mess. We were also able to get very good results with a moka pot, but haven't tried other brew methods. We pair this grinder with the Lelit Bianca v3 in White. Overall, it's a very nice aesthetic match and we're very happy with the combo to produce excellent espresso.”
“I recently decided to upgrade my grinder setup, after being sort of hesitant that the extra money would make any difference. I came across Cliff and Pebble and read about their iron clad 30 day return policy including they handling return shipping and said what do I have to lose? My journey started with a Breville Pro grinder at around $200. I was pretty happy with it , but after reading rave reviews of the Sette 270, I later bought one of those for $400. To be honest, I found little difference between the Breville and the Sette, certainly not twice the price difference. Enter the Eureka Mignon Specialita for $700 at Cliff and Pebble . Free shipping and no tax! It was shipped promptly even after the Black Friday rush. I was even more skeptical that this jump would offer a difference. First pulled shot……the difference was clear and immediate! More flavor and a depth of taste was clearly there. The grind was consistent and puffy and light compared to my Sette. The lower noise level was clear significant and obvious. I had initially planned that there would be not much difference and that I would be returning the Eureka. After one use and each subsequent use, it is a clear no brainer that it is a keeper! 5 stars for both Eureka and Cliff and Pebble!”
