Smaller than I'd expected. Not straightforward to turn the night light on.

Dear Richard, thank you for taking time to provide your feedback. We try and make the size as clear as possible, noting it at the very beginning of the description and also including full dimensions in the description and in the specific dimesions box. If you haven't used an alarm clock like this previously I can understand the light not being straightforward. The light is a great feature as it doesn't matter where you push on the top of the clock, the dial will illuminate. This is because the light button is in the base so when you push down on the clock it lights up. This is so you can lay in bed, reach over to the clock and push on the top of it without having to find a specific button to press. I hope you can still enjoy your clock even though it isn't what you expected. Kind Regards, Daniel Clock Shop Owner

Why isn't it clear where this is made? Next time I'll go to the two-dollar shop and get something that isn't pretending to be European.

Thank you for your feedback. The Braun clocks are now licensed to a company called Zeon, with headquarters in London and Hong Kong. The design and the finish of the clocks is excellent and the overall quality of the materials is still very good however it would appear that they are no longer made in Germany.
