“If you haven’t replaced a clock mechanism before have a look at the various videos on the web site so you understand the movement types and different shaft & hand hole sizes. This movement suited the imported clock we’ve had for quite a few years. Whilst the shaft was a little longer than needed the minute & sweep hand holes matched the ones I was re-using. The movement fit perfectly and I was able to shim the shaft threads so it looked the goods. The hands fitted nicely and once lined up and a battery inserted away it went like a new one. Very pleasing result. The movement itself is very fairly priced and postal delivery also happened quickly. Very happy to have been able to keep our clock by replacing the movement.”
