“Still learning the ins and outs of the device, but I like some of what I've experienced so far. What I like most is the fact that you can taste the substance, and only the substance. The flavor is very smooth. I think the size is perfect, and the color schemes are good to determine the strength of the burn. One thing I don't like is the USB port has no protective plug or cover and leaves it vulnerable to moisture, whether it be from a spill, humidity, or leak. I also noticed the device leaks if it's on it's side, and when you turn it upside down to load, which I realize I could empty the water before I load the chamber or transport it. I'm also not sure what the extra hole on the base is for. Is it a carburetor hole or what? I noticed that smoke/vapor escapes from the hole while the device is heating up. (I thought the aroma would be completely contained until you pulled it out.) Overall, I think the device is very nice, and I think I will enjoy it even more as I learn to use it.”

Thank you for providing such a thorough review! A couple things to address:
The device does leak when sideways since it prevents water passage via ball bearing. However, it should not leak when upside down, this is indicative of a poorly fitted mouthpiece, for which we can offer warranty action.
The hole on the side is the fresh air intake, the air you pull is pulled through the side. Please let me know if this was helpful, thanks!
“First of all, I wanna say thank you!
It was a bit difficult to make make it work but the instructions are pretty straightforward. if you're having problems right out the box #1.make sure you charge it before you use it #2.let it heat up through two cycles on red then recharge and let cool down before you use your herb (at least that's what worked for me).
So I've had this piece of artwork for about more than half a year and I am in love with it.
Pros:
Smooth
Not high maintenance
No smoke
Not much smell(There is some smell but it can go away easy unlike smoke)
Doesn't combust your herbs
Easy to clean
Lightweight and spacious
Quick Charge and heat up time (Although I don't recommend their cable to charge it, just cause I'm impatient)
Cons:
you can use it with no water. but you want to use water tho.
Wish there was a button to turn off the lights while using it or at least dim them.
All in all, I love this product I know what to expect from it everytime I use it which is great.
Notes:
I hope you guys make different mouthpieces to customize your cloudious9 a little bit .or a different case that lets you carry your tools to clean it and or one with a container that lets you put some water just so you don't always carry a bottle of water.”
“I ABSOLUTELY LOVE MY HYDROLOGY9!!!
I love the sound of the bubbling and the lights. The flavor of the herb is amazing. What is fascinating is that I can really taste the various flavors of different strains of herb.
It does not take long to charge or heat up, BONUS!
I wasn't sure just cold water would cool it enough (I have always added ice) but it was!
I really like being able to mix the herb with just a few turns of the button on the bottom of the vape.
Every inhale from the Hydrology9 is the smoothest, least harsh and most flavorful one I have ever had. I am on a mission to vape as many different varieties of herb with my Hydrology9 as possible.
It's a great conversation starter! Which turns into one hell of a very relaxed and mellow good time.
I hope to see a smaller, more portable version of the Hydrology9 soon.

Each chamber fill will last you at least 2 and up to 3-4 cycles. The cycles are there to ensure optimal flavors and prevent continuous heating. To load, you don't need to empty the water, just turn it upside down, our ball valve on the mouthpiece will prevent any water leakage. If you are unsure or small drops of water gets away, put the cap back on. So the loading sequence is essentially the same as all vaporizer. Hope that helps!
“It works great. Just like you intended. Pure taste! Much milder, but just as effective as smoking. Easy on the lungs.
Just one problem. The metal in the screwdriver is way too soft. The small perforated plate won't budge with the screw driver. the tip just bends, I've got to find a thin bit screw driver that is strong enough to remove the small round plate. Any suggestions?”
“Works as it should, really great and convenient way to water filter while vaporizing - I've used a handheld vaporizer with a glass rig, which is nice but a bit of a PITA to use...this makes it much more simple. Unfortunately, mine has a slight gap between the mouthpiece section and the body section that will leak more water than I'm comfortable with, when turned upside down to fill. I'll continue to use it anyway, and deal with the minor clean up.”
Yes we have a easy solution for this, our customer service will reach out to you. I think one of the gasket is out of place and we have replacement gasket that will hold in place better. Our customer service will contact you.

The gasket you have is most likely out of place, we have a replacement gasket that will hold in place much better and can send it over.
