“first let me start by saying I LOVE THIS DEVICE!!! I quit smoking and needed to stop my bong and this is perfect! Being the first edition, I would imagine the following incarnations will be nothing but better. Its built incredibly well. Few of the “cons” and the only reason Im nitpicking is so they can take some user input for the next generations of this device!
Loading… You need to turn it upside down to load so it does slightly leak sometimes. NOT a lot but there are better was to design the “bowl”
Battery life… too short but good enough for one solid smokeout with a friend.
Temp… some reviews say they dont want to divulge the actual temps the machine works at but the light system is a bit too obscure. It goes into cooldown mode after a few minutes (great) but you dont know it’s still “on” since all lights go off…. maybe a small LED to let you know its not completely off would be great!

“I saw the hydrology on facebook long before it was released. I was really excited and I bought it right after the release, and loved it. It is so much fun to use and everybody is always amazed when they see it. However, after having it for a while I have some complaints. The mouth piece is glass and fits over metal with an o-ring. The metal that is fits over is the part that you unscrew to fill with water. The metal part is so small that it can be really hard to unscrew. Because of this, I held onto the glass portion of the mouthpiece when unscrewing. Doing this rotated the glass over the o-ring and now, no matter what I do, I cannot get the mouthpiece to sit even, as the o-ring is off kilter. It is really annoying, and the fact that I can't get a good grip on just the metal to unscrew the mouthpiece is annoying as well.
The second issue I have found is that this thing is really difficult to keep clean. You need to clean it after virtually every single use. The stir stick on the bottom gets really gunked up after just one or two uses. The oven also gets really dirty and is really hard to clean sufficiently. I may be overboard with cleanliness, but after spending nearly $300 on a piece I want it to stay in good shape.”

Needs a longer battery life and/or the ability to use while plugged in
