“Recently bought a used Leica SL2 and was disapointed in the color extracted from the DNG files. Adding the Cobalt-Image Base Pack to the workflow gave an immediate improvement. I was able to directly compare Adobe's default profiles with the corresponding Base Pack profiles. The improvements were obvious and made working with the raw DNG files much easier because of a greatly enhanced starting point.”
“Basic Pack > Too expensive for what it does. After installing/selecting the proper profile, one still needs to select/determine the WB for basically each shot to get the proper color scheme or consisteny among different cameras. While that's fine for a 10€ solution, it's not acceptable for such an expensive (52€) option; I'm using 4 different cameras and I'm glad I "only" bought profiles for 2 of them; after seeing how it performs I'd have gone nuts spending almost 210€ for this ... more or less half-solution.
Would I buy it again? Most definitely not.”
