I grind the beans for 6 cups every morning and drink it all before work. Something about the flavor of this Sumatra that is more smooth and less bitter than others.

This is the best Sumatra I have tasted and the best CBTL coffee I have tasted so far. I use a french press and the result is full bodied and flavorful coffee. As the Sumatra Mandheling Dark is often out of stock I have tried and liked the regular Sumatra, Kenya AA and Tanzania Peaberry. The Ethiopia Yirgacheffe was not to my liking. I'll try the Sulawesi next time the Sumatra Mandheling Dark is unavailable.

This bean makes a great cold brew - 1:8 coffeee to water ratio, medium coarse grind. I use a french press and leave on the higher end of 14 to 24 hours. Smoothest (no bitterness), smokiest, full bodied and very low acid I've found. Awesome cold brew.

This is the first time I have ordered this coffee and it definitely will not be the last. The coffee has a wonderful rich aroma and taste. It is bold but not bitter. I use a drip coffeemaker and grind the beans daily.

As a coffee addict, I have a single cup of coffee every morning. That cup starts my day. This Sumatra Mandheling Dark Coffee meets my needs and then some. It has a great bold taste that doesn't have a bitter finish. Strong, but not overpowering. A great way to start my mornings.

I was looking for a full bodied coffee with a rich chocolaty taste. This comes close to what I was looking for. I enjoy drinking it though I'm not wowed by it. I've also used it to blend with other coffee to improve the taste of weak/light bodied coffee. It makes a nice ice coffee also.

I went into the store to get Kona, but, the store didn't have it. So, I got this bag of Sumatra Mandeling (roast date was 4/1, 2015) instead. It's a pleasant surprise - rich, smooth, low acidity. I like it. For people who drink espresso (moka pot, french press, ...), this probably can be an anytime coffee. For people who drink drip coffee (automatic drip coffee maker), this might be too rich/thick/heavy for the afternoon or for the evening.
