“I do not like the current model. The previous model was better. I cannot control espresso fill level with the new model and I don't get as much foam. The flavor with the old one seemed to be a little richer.”

“I purchased this machine to replace my 8 year old CBTL Americano model, which began to malfunction. The first thing I noticed about the Lieto model is that it is much quieter than the Americano. I do miss the cup size selections that were available on the Americano, 8 oz., 10 oz. or 12 oz. There is only one coffee size setting on the Lieto. It is a smaller default setting than I chose on my old machine. If the Lieto lasts as long as my Americano, I will be thrilled. I use CBTL coffee capsules and they make a delicious cup of coffee. I always use distilled water to prevent water deposits from developing.”

“The coffee is excellent although the output is not a full cup. The espresso is outstanding! The On/Off switch is a bit difficult to reach, on the left side near the back of the machine. It's not a big deal, but on our crowded countertop it is a minor challenge to reach. I should add that I am old. :-)”
