“The Bellman steamer is solidly built and it should do me until I shuffle off.
While the Bellman steamer does a reasonable job of heating the milk, I find that because I am using it on a gas stove, and its base has a fairly small diameter, I have to set the gas flame fairly low - and so it takes a while to heat up, and the steam pressure seldom gets very high. That said, it still does what it is meant to do - it just takes a bit longer. It may work better on an electric or induction stove. It may also work better on a better gas stove.”
“It's pricey for what it is. However, it's a great piece of kit. Never worry about the perfect steam frothed milk for lattes and cappuccinos - this does the trick without an expensive, noisy, home coffee making machine.”
