“The Gaggia espresso performs well albeit the plastic tip on the paranello is great if you enjoy your milk as a froth. Disappointing however works well without as I now prefer. Would prefer a non plastic portafilla but for the price the machine performs well.
Bonus Coffee, still experimenting with beans to extract their full flavour and would consider 4 stars for the overall quality.”
“I bought it for its ESE pod capability, which is good but the machine is lightweight and difficult to close the portafilter without putting a lot of effort into keeping the machine stable/still.
The milk frother is totally over-the-top. You end up with a jug of mostly froth. Cofeeteca rep suggested I could remove the plastic fittings from the panarello. I did this and am now able to steam/froth milk to my liking, so finally happy except for the lightweight aspect but at this price I don't thinkI can complain.”
