“Ordered the Specialita with upgraded the burrs and received the Magnifico. First grinder purchase and couldn't be happier with quality and price. The tamper is good and definite upgrade from the one that came with my BDB. Mat also good and works with the spouted portafilter. Coffee disappointing as was 6 months past roasted date. Didnt taste good but gave me a chance to play around with grinder and BDB and not waste the coffee I purchased locally.”

“The grinder is relatively quiet and does a good job. The only thing I don't like is that the dial used to adjust the grind size needs several complete rotations to go from very fine to coarse and you don't necessarily know where you are in the range. This doesn't matter if you're making the same type of coffee using the same coffee machine all the time, but if you're moving from an espresso machine to a French press (for example) then it's a bit annoying. The bonus items (tamper, coffee and tamper mat) were all good. The tamper was particularly useful because I also bought a Gaggia Classic coffee machine which only comes with a flimsy plastic tamper.”
