“Quite simply, this 2013 album is a masterpiece. I can't believe it took 11 years before I "discovered" it, but better late than never. Reminds me a bit of Coldplay's strongest album X&Y, but possibly even better? The single "Pieces" is actually one of my least favorite tracks -- it's fine if a bit bland/generic. I much prefer the enigmatic energy of leadoff track "Dark Matter" (musically, somewhat remiscent of X&Y's leadoff "Square One"), "Sister," and "The Enemy." The best two tracks, though, really cut through to my emotional core: "Wants What It Wants" and most especially "Many Lives." Sheer brilliance -- illustrates how posing thoughtful questions may be the best way of expressing emotional depth. Bravo, Andrew, and more like this please!”
