“This burn pot did not fit tight on the stove and the burn pot kept backing up. Luckily we had the old one and my husband had to use a grinder to make it finally sit flush. We have bought before and had no issue.”
“It does its job well, but has a problem with cracking near the igniter port especially with high heat softwood pellets. Gone through 2 pot in 2 burning seasons due to cracking, may have to invest in the stainless version soon”
“The burn pot cracks and needs to be replaced every couple of years. I had a Lopi for 17 years and replaced the burn pot twice. I tried the steel burn pot and the holes don't line up.”
“Works good. Easy to clean. The only issue is its very short life. I suggest a change in the material used to make it. I understand this is a common problem on the west coast because the pellets we use are not from hardwood. A change to steel instead of cast iron would likely solve the problem.”
