Love my pellet stove - when I needed a new burn pot went to the web site - found it easily and it shipped very quickly.

I've been using cast burn pots for the past 10 or so years. First with a Cumberland stove and now my HP22. I have not seen much improvement over the years and I'm planning to upgrade to the stainless version as soon as they are available.

The one I received in order was very bad casting but Comfortbilt sent another one free of charge.

The new pellet pot does not fit over the igniter tube of our HP61, another pot was sent, but that one does not fit either. We were told we would need to file or grind the pot to make it fit. Our original pot slides in with ease, but it developed a crack during the first season of use. They said the mold is the same, but the new pots have bigger air holes and the shape of the new pot is slightly smaller.

We have had Three in the last year that has cracked between the holes in the bottom, I won't know about this new one for a few months and now that Spring is almost here, we may not need the Stove as much, but I will write an update it next Winter of 2024 Thanks.

Basically purchased for convenience. Easy swap after cleaning stove to get it quickly fired up again. I soak the dirty burn pot in hot water for easy removal of carbon buildup.
