ComfortBilt 32lb Hopper Extension for HP21, HP22, and HP61 Pellet Stoves Reviews

4.4 Rating 61 Reviews
It is nice to have an extension, mostly to have the larger opening to load pellets. That being said it does require you to lift the bag a fair amount higher to load it. It still makes it easier. The extension wing quite hold a full bag of pellets but it is worth it for us.

Customer Service was excellent and product is very good quality. Wished I had bought the extension when I purchased the stove. Worth the money.

This was the best investment I have made so far! Easy to install and makes my day easy and without worry of running out of pellets.

Don't know why you would sell a stove with limited capacity in the 1st place Without the hopper the stove even though it works well would be useless for my application What like to see the same stone offered with larger hopper .

There were 2 problems I had with my stove. First the hopper was too small for running overnight during a New Hampshire winter. The second was that the auger would be disabled while adding pellets causing the flame to die down if you were slow in filling the hopper. The extension solved both of these problems. Installation is easy and there is an excellent video showing how to do it on the Comfortbilt website. My only issue is the original ribbon cable to the control panel was too short. I contacted ComfortBilt and the sent me a longer one at no charge. I think they should include it as part of the installation kit.
