I purchased the HP61 pellet stove for my elderly parents who live in the Midwest, December of 2022. Winters can be harsh there and they are too old to cut wood. They absolutely love it. They have a 2400' ranch style home and it heats with ease.

I Love my HP-61 Pellet Stove I installed it about two years ago and added a hopper extension. The data cable failed due to stress from the added hopper extension. This happened on the coldest week of the year. I emailed Comfort bilt service and had a replacement next day free of charge I have tested the stove and have zero complaints Now I have tested after the sale service and also have zero complaints.

Great pellet stove that meets criteria for tax rebate. I replaced my old Blaze King wood stove with an HP-61.Bronze. I was really interested in the HP-22, but it did not qualify for the tax rebate, so I went with the HP-61. We have used this stove for the 4 months, and it meets all of our expectations. It is so much more convenient and less labor intensive than a wood stove. It does require more frequent cleanouts than a wood stove but It cools down in less than 2 hours so it can be cleaned. I would recommend the purchase of a vacuum for the ashes that remain after the pan and burn pot are removed for cleaning. It does require more frequent pellet additions than I envisioned but that is ok since we are retired and spend more time at home now. We use a "coal" bucket for the pellets. This is the same bucket we used to empty the ashes and "clinkers" from the wood stove. It pours in the pellets easily. We have had a week of temperatures in the teens and only had to turn it up to a setting of 3 during the day and 2 at night. I would recommend this stove if you are considering one and are looking to utilize the tax rebate. I also purchased a spare burn pot due to other reviews.
