“Bought this before they noted that it may not fit the HP50. I was able to get it installed. They recommended using high temp silicone to hold it in place. I did not as I did not have any. The ignition tube moved a bit in mid winter and the stove did not start reliably. I readjusted it and have not had an issue since. I will track down some high temp silicone and reset the tube in place so it does not move. This igniter is much better than the one that came with the HP50. Now get us a better quality burn pot.”
