“Purchased Comfortbilt HP21i after extensive research of other brands. Company representatives were very helpful in confirming this insert pellet stove would fit into my existing fireplace opening. In my opinion, a pellet stove was the best long-term value due to the unpredictable price and future availability of petroleum products. This stove puts out the heat. Thus far this 2022 winter, we have used zero heating oil. Handling 40 lb. bags of hardwood pellets is much less work than cutting trees, transporting, stacking, allowing to dry, then handling the logs again to bring in the house sometimes with unseen bugs. Been there, done that. Our pellet stove was received timely in our northern MN / Canadian border home in early fall. Recommend obtaining all components which will fit thru Comfortbilt. Suggest measuring height of chimney interior before ordering SS flue pipe. Routine clean out with the supplied ash vacuum is a whole lot easier than unburnt wood charcoal.”
