Composites with deep stains generally require additional applications. Failure to thoroughly Corte*Clean® composites generally results in stains returning when composites receive moisture. Please keeep in mind that Corte Clean is designed to be used "at least twice yearly, spring & fall, or when stains appear". Are you aware that most composite manufacturers recommend proactively cleaning composite in this fashion? Proactively Corte Cleaning compsoites generally costs less time and money. “I've tried many products and this one seems to work the best on my composite mold. Just be sure to use the product by the use by date on the bag. I found that the effectiveness diminishes once the product expires.”

“I have been using Corte Clean on my composite deck for many years. When I allow the staining to become embedded it takes full strength application and lots of elbow-grease to get the deck clean, but it works, which is more than I can say for other products I have tried. Used proactively, the way the company recommends, Corte Clean is easy to use, and keeps my deck free of mold and other stains. For the cost of 2 bags of Corte Clean I keep my 10 year-old deck looking new.”

Thank you for the review! Warm water works best to dissolve the Corte Clean. Maximum water solubility is some where between 4 to 5 Scoops per gallon of water. Depending on how hard your water is, and how much Corte Clean you add, it may not all dissolve. Not to worry, just don't get ti into you pump sprayer, especially if your pump sprayer doesn't have the oprional filtration device designed for powdered cleaning products like Corte Clean. You don't want to clog your sprayer! Proactively using Corte Clean "at least twice yearly, spring and fall, or when stains appear", as it is designed and intended, you will "use up to 2.5 scoops of Corte Clean for routine cleaning" as the label directions state. At this strength, you should never have a problem with Corte Clean dissolving while saving yourself time and money keeping your composites clean. Please let us know if you have any further questions. Thanks for the five star review! Now the goal is to get you spending less time and money keeping your composites Corte Cleaned! If you choose to proactively use Corte Clean, as it was designed and intended, “at least twice yearly, spring & fall, or when stains appear”, not only of common mold stains, but grease & oil, rust & tannin stains and just about any other type of stains. Over time, composites tend to stay clean for longer, as “Corte Clean is designed to deep clean and continue to clean any time it receives moisture” until thoroughly rinsed. Proactively using Corte Clean, preferably before composites receive moisture and stains occur or saturate at the reduced Corte Clean strength of “up to 2.5 scoops for routine cleaning”, is the key to generally spending less time and money because it can be “allowed to dry on weathered surfaces”, at the “diluted strength”. The ugly “white” Corte Clean “residue may remain until thoroughly rinsed”. The best way to “thoroughly” rinse, is to allow rain or snow naturally rinse it. If the composites are going to be used before they receive moisture it is recommended that one “thoroughly rinse” with a hose and water. Please call us if you wish to thoroughly discuss. “I have been using Corte Clean for years now. I live in the northeast do it in the spring and early fall. My trex deck looks fabulous and it's 8 years old. I only wish it came in a liquid form because it does take awhile for it to dissolve, and it's important to make sure it totally dissolved so it doesn't clog your sprayer. Please, Corte Clean, can you work on making it in a liquid form???? Many thanks.”
