I was so excited to receive these and the shipping was excellent that’s where the story ends. I don’t know if I got an old box or what have you. But every time I went to remove one of these from the sheet that they are on the strip it’s self would curl up immediately before I even got to put it on my eyelid. Thus making it very hard to position into place. I also need to mention that when you go to choose these they label them moderate, dramatic, over-the-top, but what they fail to mention is the size of your eye it matters. I went for the over the top and trust me it covered my whole eyelid and that’s not a good look. I also have to emphasize that it’s nearly impossible Impossible to apply eye make up on the strips it does not adhere. So very disappointed is all I have to say”

Thank you for reaching out, we would first like to say that many reviews we receive of this nature end up being deleted by the customer after we provide them with the education they are needing to be successful with LIDS BY DESIGN. The issues you are experiencing are not a result of product malfunction but rather require proper tips on placement.
1. LIDS BY DESIGN is a skin-like material, we make them thin so they look natural on the eyelid. Because of this, they are delicate and must be handled with care. When peeling your strips, slowly peel them straight off the release paper. Pulling the strips quickly or in a curling motion will curl the strips and make them very difficult to apply.
2. Every eye is different and we are not able to determine everyone's exact size with our general guidelines. This is why we always recommend starting with our Discovery Kit, which is discounted as a first-time purchase and has every size for you to try to discovery your ideal lift. Many people even wear different sizes depending on the occasion. Bigger isn't always better, when you've found your right size, LIDS BY DESIGN will feel comfortable and be undetectable.
3. Eye shadows will take two different ways on the strip and the skin. We have developed a specially-formulated eye shadow primer to go over the strips and allow for seamless shadow application. Alternatively, as you press and hold LIDS BY DESIGN to the eyelid, it will become transparent with the skin, and shadows are not necessary to cover them from view.
