“I am still practicing to get the right lift. I got the fives and maybe should have went up a size. I love the look when I get it right. It takes time. I wish There was an easier way to apply eyeshadow because it would help camouflage that I have an adhesive on my eye.”
Hello Laura,
For best results, the correcting strips should apply to the bare skin before any makeup, oils, or moisturizers. We recommend using our Eyelid Prep Pads to prepare the skin for LIDS BY DESIGN. The strip and the skin are two different surfaces, so makeup will inherently take two different ways. To avoid this, use our Transforming Shadow Base over the strip and eyelid to make everything one smooth surface. This base was specially designed to work with the strips as it is oil-free and will not interfere with the adhesive! Make sure the shadow base dries out completely before applying, like 2-4 mins drying time, this allows the shadows to be more pigmented and last all day long.
“Finally got the hang of it and loving them..I've even used the larger ones but cut them down to fit my lids and they work just like the smaller ones once I've cut them down. Now waiting on the shadow base to arrive”
“They definitely make a difference. It’s not something I wear every day as I am retired. Have gotten compliments. Still getting used to applying them. Got my sister some for Christmas!! She was so excited!!”
“This is a friendly and efficient company to deal with. Product is very effective and fairly simple to apply. Bit of practice required for correct placement”
“Because I wore hard contact lenses for so many years, now I have one eyelid that’s recessed and one that is hooded. I wear contours on the hooded lid only, and they finally match again! Very happy with this product!”
