“I didn't really buy into the hype around this product, but decided to try it anyway. I have extremely hooded eyes (thanks, genetics) and it's been bothering me for most of my life. I've consulted several surgeons regarding blepharoplasty, but was dissuaded by all of them since I'm in my early 30s.
Stumbled on Lids by Design from a google search while researching other solutions for now, and I'm happy I did. I got the sample package to try out the different sizes. I'm very pleased with the results and how well they hold up through the day. Kinda sucks you can't wear eyeshadow with them, but I could never wear it anyway due to not having any visible eyelids. I'm happy enough that my eyeliner doesn't get everywhere.
Will definitely be reordering once I figure out which size I prefer.”

“I am conflicted on how to rate this product because on the one hand I find that they work very well, but on the other hand I absolutely can not wear eyeshadow with these, so really, what's the point? I bought the primer and tried a light application, a heavy application, all over my lid, only on the strip, under the strip, but the strip was clearly visible no matter what I did or what color eye shadow I used. I tried powder and cream shadows too.. So it's an effective product that I cannot wear if I want to wear eye makeup. If you do not wear shadow then I would recommend the product, but if you are a shadow wearer I would say don't bother.”

For best results, the correcting strips should apply to the bare skin before any makeup, oils, or moisturizers. We recommend using our Eyelid Prep Pads to prepare the skin for LIDS BY DESIGN. The strip and the skin are two different surfaces, so makeup will inherently take two different ways. To avoid this, use our Transforming Shadow Base over the strip and eyelid to make everything one smooth surface. This base was specially designed to work with the strips as it is oil-free and will not interfere with the adhesive! Make sure the shadow base dries out completely before applying, like 2-4 mins drying time, this allows the shadows to be more pigmented and last all day long.

“I always loved my eyes but the older I became, they became so droopy, especially my left eye. It was really depressing. I tried all sorts of tricks with makeup, but was never satisfied.
