“I have saggy eyelids and this product has helped somewhat although I’m disappointed that you can actually see the product on my eyelids. It’s fine as long as I can walk around with my eyes wide open and never blink but that’s very unreasonable. I do as instructed and press for 15 seconds but it never blends in and becomes invisible. Adding eye shadow really makes it worse. Is it better than saggy eyelids? Yes! Is it better than surgery? Yes for now however, I am considering getting that done very soon. People……just don’t expect miracles! Not everything is as it seems.”

There are a couple of reasons why this may be happening: (1) you may have applied the strip by swiping across it rather than pressing and holding, the more you press the more it blends with the skin tone (2) the skin may not be fully dry or clean (no oils, makeups, or moisturizers) when applying the strip! We recommend using our Eyelid Prep Pads to prepare the skin optimally for LIDS BY DESIGN.
We recommend using our Eyelid Prep Pads to prepare the skin for LIDS BY DESIGN. The strip and the skin are two different surfaces, so makeup will inherently take two different ways. To avoid this, use our Transforming Shadow Base over the strip and eyelid to make everything one smooth surface. This base was specially designed to work with the strips as it is oil-free and will not interfere with the adhesive! Make sure the shadow base dries out completely before applying, like 2-4 mins drying time, this allows the shadows to be more pigmented and last all day long.
