For best results, the correcting strips should apply to the bare skin before any makeup, oils, or moisturizers. We recommend using our Eyelid Prep Pads to prepare the skin for LIDS BY DESIGN. You may have applied the strip by swiping across it rather than pressing and holding, the more you press the more it blends with the skin tone. The strip and the skin are two different surfaces, so makeup will inherently take two different ways. To avoid this, use our Transforming Shadow Base over the strip and eyelid to make everything one smooth surface. This base was specially designed to work with the strips as it is oil-free and will not interfere with the adhesive! Make sure the shadow base dries out completely before applying, like 2-4 mins drying time, this allows the shadows to be more pigmented and last all day long.

“The product was very disappointing. I tried it numerous times. I put it on the eye lid properly and you can clearly see it. It looks like a piece of white tape across the eye, and it did not do anything about lifting it up. Not everybody has the same skin color. I returned it for a full refund. If I can give the product less than one store, I would. Very disappointed customer”

There are a couple of reasons why this may be happening: (1) you may have applied the strip by swiping across it rather than pressing and holding, the more you press the more it blends with the skin tone (2) the skin may not be fully dry or clean (no oils, makeups, or moisturizers) when applying the strip!
