“I recently completed the Master of Message Finding course, and I must say, the content was nothing short of fabulous. Jo, our instructor, was truly excellent. However, as someone transitioning from digital marketing to freelance copywriting, my primary goal was to uncover a compelling message for my new venture. Given that I was starting from scratch without a website, I was hoping for guidance on how to navigate this challenge. While Jo did suggest starting with user testing on competitors' websites, I encountered a roadblock as user testing typically requires an official email ID, which I currently lack as I operate with a Gmail address. I believe it would be immensely valuable to include a tutorial demonstrating how to leverage message mining as a research technique to find your unique message for a website from the ground up, particularly for individuals like myself who are embarking on their freelance copywriting journey. Overall, I found the course enriching, but I believe addressing this aspect would further enhance its value for aspiring copywriters in similar situations. Looking forward to potential updates or supplementary resources in this regard. Additionally, I want to mention that my next course will focus on web copywriting.”

“An amazingly detailed overview of the research process! This course gave me a structured process for research and leaves no stone unturned when it comes to covering everything you need to find to write copy. I wish there were more downloadable resources eg: a doc of the list of search terms to use for Amazon/Yelp review mining. It would have also been great to have a bit more guidance on Jobs to be Done since I am not very sure of its application. But other than that, fantastic course!”
