Cookology ANG605BK 60cm Angled Kitchen Extractor Fan Are you are looking for a beautiful, quality designer Cooker Hood with a massive extraction rate & modern LED Lighting? If you are, look no further! This Angled Cooker Hood uses Perimeter extraction that together with an extra wide 150mm ducting outlet, results in a fantastic extraction rate of 750m/3 per hour which is very powerful and will help remove lingering smells from cooking, prevent grease building up on walls and kitchen furniture and leave your kitchen looking and smelling cleaner and more hygienic. Angled Glass Cooker Hoods are great if you tend to bump your head a lot, but they look incredibly stylish too and this model comes with Bright, Clean, LED Lighting that look great against the Smoked Glass and Black finish of the Canopy. The ANG605BK features 3 Speed settings, a removable and washable Grease Filter and an Adjustable Chimney so it reaches your ceiling. This Hood is wall-mounted and you can choose whether you want to duct/vent the air outside through a hole in your Wall or Ceiling, using a 150mm Ducting Kit like the DK1M150 1 x Metre Ducting kit (not included in this listing) or, if you do not have access to an outside wall you can recirculate the air back into your kitchen using CCF200 Carbon Filters (not included in this listing) that clean the air before the air goes back into your kitchen. black angled cooker hood ANG605BK features: Colour: Black with Smoked Glass LED Lights Suitable for re-circulation or ducted/vented extraction Maximum extraction capacity 750m³/hour Electronic button controls 3 speed settings Perimeter extraction Washable aluminium grease filter 60cm wide Glass canopy Recirculating or Venting outside: CCF200 Charcoal filters required for re-circulation (sold separately) DK1M150 Ducting kit required for outside ventilation (sold separately) Technical details: 2 x 2W LED Spot Lights 69 Decibels on max speed Motor Power: 190W UK 3-pin Plug 13AMP - No Need to Hard Wire this item 150mm Ducting Outlet (this size helps extract more air than 120-125mm) Rated Input Power: 194W

I have made my kitchen open plan with stair access coming into the kitchen. Main concern was cooking smells going up stairs. 26 sqm kitchen area, zero smells go up stairs Brilliant

Could have the model without the open flap for £60 less. Thought the flap could stay on the level you choose but it only hang down vertically and I would prefer it opened wider. It claimed on the product description that the flow is 750m3/ hour but the literature only says 330m3/hr

The extraction rate is base on the size of the flue, unfortunately this is industrial size 150 MM and requires a big hole into your wall. You can fit a reducer so the hole doesn't need to be as big but this will reduce extraction. Also be aware that because the hood is angled the extraction hole in your wall needs to be higher than normal hoods and if like me you live in a bungalow, it is impossible to get it in other than duct through the roof. You could always use on filters only but at £20 quid a pop it's all rather expensive!
