“Very pleased with delivery and the fan itself - it was bought to replace a defunct cgl600ss and would have scored 5 except for the fact that the chimney and extractor have got bigger thus prompting slightly more work than anticipated !”

“I've only had mine for a couple of weeks but it's doing a good job of getting rid of the grease/oil laden fumes. It had a remarkably powerful fan which, even on the lowest setting, has no trouble at all pushing the flap on my external vent wide open. What looks like an LED light fitted to the back of the hood provide a very bright nice light so you can see what you're cooking - it also allows you to clearly see the fumes being sucked into the filter. It was quite easy to fit though, due to the very small diagrams on the leaflet supplied, it was necessary to study the whole thing carefully to determine which bracket went where. Can't judge longevity after such a short time but I'm very happy with it so far. I've rated it as good instead of very good because it's really noisy - in a rattly way rather than just normal swishing fan noise. I've checked everything I can access for loose bits and there's nothing I can see - so it must be the fan itself. It works very well but it really lets you know it's running!”
