“I think I expected the lamb bacon to be smoked in flavour, maybe conditioned to thinking of pork bacon. However, the lamb bacon was very flavoursome and I enjoyed it”

“A great alternative to pork bacon, but great, tasty meat on its own, whether wrapped around a chicken or pheasant, served as part of breakfast, or in a sandwich. Highly recommended.”

“Our first order was great, although had defrosted in transit, as was our last order, refroze and hoped ok.. however the bacon in our last order was full of gristle and chewy fatty bits which was most unpleasant and put us off ... After much chewing had to fish the chewy bits out of our mouths and throw away”

“I fancied trying this for a change but I have always been put off by the fact that it contained sugar. I avoid sugar for health reasons and did not know how much sugar would be in the end product. I did succumb to temptation when I placed my last order but was very disappointed with it. The slices are quite thick and I could not stretch them out much as you can with pork bacon. The taste, which I did not like, is hard to describe even though there was some sweetness to it. So disappointing!”

“Keep this one simple. Much tastier than the back bacon and that’s tasty in its own right. Proper lush as a sandwich using doorstep thick cut white bread and real butter. Optional: drizzle over a freshly chopped mint, avocado oil, maple syrup and apple cider vinegar dressing.”
