“The opal of this flat back popped out on two different earrings immediately and did not secure easily into back. I have several other Cords flat backs and have not had this type of issue. Customer service was helpful in trying to resolve, however, I don’t recommend this product, as it doesn’t seem it would hold up over time (even if there was no issue initially).”

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! In looking at the image that you submitted, the flat back stud appears to be the same mid-dark gray that titanium is. This could definitely be a trick of light in the photo, though, and might not show what you're seeing in person.
Additionally, the post length that comes with each flat back stud is 6mm. If the lightning part is all the way clicked in to the post (there's no more room to push it in further), then it looks like you might benefit from a shorter post :)

And just by chance, one of my piercings that has always given me issues works great with these, because I often had to put my earring in backwards due to the angle of the hole.”
