“I like the shorter post, especially for my 2nd ear piercing where my ear is thinner. Keeps the studs from getting that "hanging" look that makes people think your earring is about to fall out. Exactly what I was looking for, and I'll probably buy more with each purchase. Just wish we could choose post size at purchase instead of having to pay extra.”

Thanks for taking the time to leave a review! These flat back posts are 18g thick, and are compatible with 18g push-pin style flat back studs. Because of differences in gauge and mechanics, these backs aren't compatible with threaded earrings, or butterfly back earrings. Let us know if you have any additional questions or concerns.
