“Waited for quite a while for the shipping, but it was entirely worth it. My dad used to wear the original Issey from the 90s and this certainly takes a lot of inspiration form that one, but with a punchy, spicy tone. On the skin it starts off very powerful and has low notes of spice and citrus, making the offset striking but desirable nevertheless. But very soon, it mellows out into a splendid array of warm amber with hints of wood and citrus. This middle portion has a great aura. Smelling it directly is nice and spicy, but the sillage is truly wonderful, and I believe is the best part about it. People around you will likely smell it in admiration, it's that good; certainly a catching, potent scent. Nearing the end, it takes on a very mild and approachable warm citrus smell, in stark contrast to the initial tones. All in all, it's a brilliant, unique scent that will certainly be my signature for a while. Some may not like the masculine spice, but it really makes for a confident, inspiring scent for more charismatic individuals who are willing to try it.”
