The University of Glasgow has partnered with Helen Stewart, class of 2017 and founder of Badvo Distillery, to create a 100% hand foraged Scottish gin - 1451 Gin. Taking its name from the year the university was established, the gin celebrates its long history. The gin is micro-distilled in a converted outbuilding on Helen's family farm and only features botanicals that are grown and foraged on the farm. These include juniper, meadowsweet, honeysuckle and wild mint. Everything is done completely by hand by Helen and her mother including forgaging, distilling, bottling and labelling. The Postcard Editions showcase what makes life at the University of Glasgow so unforgettable. The Cloisters are instantly recognisable and are situated in the main building, dividing the two quadrangles. Not exactly what you're looking for?
