Makar Oak Aged Gin has been rested in European Oak virgin casks for 10 weeks. The smoky oak flavour is at the perfect level. It is prominent but does not obscure the the juniper or the citrus in the gin. The Makar name comes from the ancient Scots word for poet and the gin is presented a tall, slender heptagonal bottle which echoes both the number of botanicals used in and the number of times Makar Original is distilled.
